(Cleveland Plain Dealer) -- Former Ohio State football coach John Cooper was named today as part of the 2008 class for the College Football Hall of Fame.
He will join Troy Aikman, Billy Cannon and Lou Holtz among the 15 former players and coaches elected.
Cooper went 192-84-6 with Tulsa, Arizona State and Ohio State. He was head coach at Ohio State from 1988 through 2000, posting a 111-43-4 record.
