Former Ohio State coach John Cooper named to College Football Hall of Fame

(Cleveland Plain Dealer) -- Former Ohio State football coach John Cooper was named today as part of the 2008 class for the College Football Hall of Fame. He will join Troy Aikman, Billy Cannon and Lou Holtz among the 15 former players and coaches elected. Cooper went 192-84-6 with Tulsa, Arizona State and Ohio State. COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Whether they've bought Buckeyes football tickets for 50 years or are buying them for the first time, Ohio State alumni association members will get the same chance of seeing games starting this fall.
