COLUMBUS, Ohio – J.D. Bergman, an Ohio State wrestling letterwinner from 2004-08, earned a spot on the U.S. World Cup Team Friday. United States wrestling held wrestle offs for the World Cup, which will take place March 6-7 in Mahachkala, Russia.

At buy medicine online the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., Bergman beat Bryce Hasseman, a National Team member and Olympian Andy Hrovat at 96kg/211.5 pounds in his bid to represent the United States.

Against Hasseman, Bergman, a three-time All-American at Ohio State, posted back-to-back shutouts, 1-0, 1-0. The native of Oak Harbor, Ohio, then downed Hrovat, 1-0, 2-1.

He also wrapped up his collegiate career second on the program’s all-time team points standings (521.5) and fourth in career falls (43). He also was just one of 16 Buckeyes to reach the century mark in career wins with 129.

A two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, Bergman graduated from Ohio State with a bachelor’s degree in communication in March 2008.
