Another crazy week in college football is behind us, and not without major changes in the latest AP and USA Today polls.  The top three spots remained the same in both polls with the Florida Gators holding on tight to the number one spot.  Florida quarterback Tim Tebow was released from University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Sunday morning after being held overnight for precautionary reasons. Tebo, who left Saturday’s 41-7 win at Kentucky after a second-half blow to the head, suffered a concussion.  No. 2 Texas and No. 3 Alabama held their places in the media poll released Sunday, but 15 teams moved up or down at least three spots.

One of the biggest upsets was the Big Ten match-up between unranked Iowa at no. 5/4 Penn State.  The Hawkeyes shocked Joe Pa and the Nittany Lions 21-10.  Penn State fell to 15 in the AP Poll and 13 in the other.

For the second consecutive week The on line pharmacies Ohio State Buckeyes held their opponent scoreless, shutting out Illinois 30-0 in a Big Ten opener for both.  Last week, the Toledo Rockets missed the endzone by a yard and the Buckeyes won 38-0.  Two big wins and the failure of other top teams put the Buckeyes back into the top in both polls, locking them in at number nine in each.

LSU is up to No. 4 after barely avoiding an upset at Mississippi State on Saturday. No. 5 Boise State is in the top five for the first time in the regular season.

No. 6 Virginia Tech, No. 7 Southern California and No. 9 Ohio State are back in the top 10. Cincinnati moved up four spots to No. 10, the best ranking in school history.

No. 13 Iowa and No. 16 Oregon both jumped back into the rankings.
