With some prodding from the league, blogger and Ohio State basketball benchwarmer Mark Titus has withdrawn Propecia pill whithout prescription his name from the NBA draft.

Titus, a 2006 Brownsburg High School graduate, is the author of “Club Trillion: Live views from the end of the bench” (clubtrillion.blogspot.com), which started as a creative outlet and has developed a significant following, recently surpassing one million page views.
In an April 9 entry, Titus wrote about his tongue-in-cheek decision to enter the draft and forgo his senior season at Ohio State. He included his letter to NBA

commissioner David Stern, part of which read, “If I get drafted by a team that has No. 34 retired or somebody already wearing it, you should let me be the first player to have a three digit jersey number.”

Turns out, the NBA wasn’t laughing. On Thursday, Titus – who played in two games this season and did not score – wrote that the NBA had demanded he pull his name from the draft “or else.”

“I assume the ‘or else’ meant they were going to make me do an NBA Catalog commercial like Larry Bird did in 1987,” Titus wrote.

Titus said the NBA was worried the blogger was making a mockery of the draft.
“It’s unknown if the NBA makes similar calls to all the prospects they think have no chance at getting drafted, but judging by the hundreds of high school and college kids who have declared early and gone undrafted through the years, I’m guessing they don’t,” he wrote.
