Three point five seconds left. Sullinger’s at the line. He shoots his first free throw, he misses and every stomach in Ohio drops to the floor. He gears up to shoot his next, he shoots, he hits it! Of course the free throw would have been much less awe worthy if it had not had been to give the Buckeyes a one point advantage over, but it did so all members of the Buckeye nation rose to their feet in front of televisions sets everywhere. There is no escaping the fact that Jared Sullinger was the key to the close victory that has OSU at a 22 – 0 start heading into February, but why is it that people are still questioning the validity of their season?

Close wins

Their games against Minnesota, Michigan, Penn State, Illinois and Northwestern seemed like struggles for the Buckeyes. Their wins came in the range of one to five points and needed the freshman forward from Columbus to finish things off. The only problem with that argument is that people do not understand in only two of Sullinger’s games this season has he scored below ten points in a game. He plays to a maximum offensive level every night, but it only comes under the scope of the media when OSU seems to be behind and in need of it. Losing is inevitable

I guess you could say that they have got to lose sometimes. Even the UConn women’s basketball team fell on their own sword against the Stanford team who they were dealt their last lost by. And Ohio State does have to make a complete round trip to three of the four teams listed in……
