According to the Columbus Dispatch, sources within the Ohio State athletic department say that defensive lineman Rob Rose will not be missing the Rose Bowl after all.  Rose was reportedly in academic trouble, but has apparently worked things out over the past several days.

The university announced Thursday that freshman receiver Duron Cater would not able to participate in the Rose Bowl.  No reason was given by OSU for the suspension.  However, sources within the university have said that the son of former Buckeye standout Cris Carter is having academic issues.

Ohio State will travel to Pasadena and clash with the Oregon Ducks January 1.
