COLUMBUS, Ohio- The weekend of April 18 and 19 marks a thrilling time for The Ohio State University athletes and their sports fans.
Also known as Scarlet & Gray days, several sports teams are prepared for inner team competition and also to showcase potential Ohio State athletic programs to anxious crowds. Most anticipated is the Buckeyes’ football team.
The Spring Game is on April 19 at approximately 1:30 in Ohio drugs online without prescription Stadium. In previous years The Shoe houses attendance records of more than 75,000 fans. The is year, the many returning seniors such as James Laurinaitis and Malcolm Jenkins, as well as other star athletes like Chris Wells and, newcomer, Terrelle Pryor definitely add to the excitement and anticipation.
Traditions during the weekend of the Spring Game include the planting of buckeye trees in the Buckeye Grove for Ohio State football All-Americans. Prior to kickoff, a ceremony is held for the players honored with the title in the southwest corner of Ohio Stadium.
Scarlet & Gray is proudly worn by so many and there is no better time to show off Buckeye pride than during the weekend of the Spring Game. The colors were chosen by in University Hall by a group of students in 1878. The colors had not been adopted by any other college previous.
A day of excitement and friendly competition among teammates includes appearances by OSU cheerleaders, TBDBITL, and Brutus Buckeye. The weekend proves truly cherished event for all Buckeye fans.
