Fresh off a Sugar Bowl victory over Arkansas, Ohio State begins looking to next season. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, they could be without five key parts of that Sugar Bowl win: the Fab 5.
Four offensive starters—quarterback Terrelle Pryor, running back Dan Herron, wide receiver DeVier Posey and offensive tackle Mike Adams—and defensive end Solomon Thomas were suspended for the first five games of the 2011 regular season for selling personal items and ... Read More

By: Adam Rittenberg (ESPN.com) -- The main attraction at the Allstate Sugar Bowl pits Arkansas star quarterback Ryan Mallett against the nation's No. 2 defense in Ohio State.
Ohio State's offense has other ideas.
If the Buckeyes have their way on offense, Mallett will spend much of the game watching from the sideline. Ohio State wants to chew up clock and mount long, sustained drives that will limit Mallett's effectiveness in the game.
"As an offense, we want to be able to ... Read More

Boise State's loss at Nevada on Black Friday sucked most of the intrigue out of the final balloting process that determined the BCS rankings. Had the Broncos been undefeated, everyone would have pored over the final coaches' poll ballots revealed late Sunday by USA Today to determine whether conference bias or any other factor affected the matchup in the BCS title game.
As it stands, pretty much everyone outside of Fort Worth, Texas, agrees ... Read More

Art Schlichter lost everything. But now, it seems he has found salvation.
Since his release from Indiana's Marion County Jail in 2006, the former 1978-81 Ohio State quarterback who notoriously gambled his way into prison has been slowly putting the shattered pieces of his life back together.

Columbus -- It's a 50-year-old formula that Jim Tressel adopted from his father, Lee, a coach and mathematician who created it during his career at Baldwin-Wallace. It's the formula that says an MVP outing in the Rose Bowl for Terrelle Pryor or a record-breaking 16 straight completions against Ohio isn't quite enough, not at least by this measure. It's the formula, that on a day like today when the Buckeyes ... Read More

A Cheap Viagra team usually knows when everything has come together. The stars line up, as the adage goes.
But it’s a tricky proposition in college football, a team needing the perfect blend of experience and talent to have everything lined up to challenge for a national championship.
On March 19, 2008, when quarterback Terrelle Pryor opted for the cap sporting the giant, red “O,” the Buckeyes envisioned his junior season as that defining peak ... Read More

Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State.
These were four of the most powerful football schools in the country. They were four schools that even the most jaded and big headed high school recruits would be honored to receive a scholarship offer from.
Their lofty stature seemed irrelevant, however, when it came to the anticipation they all had for the decision of one young Pennsylvania teenager. They all sat with bated breath waiting for ... Read More

From: SportingNews.com -- Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon said fans clamoring for Michigan and Ohio State to be placed in the same division in 2011—and keep the traditional season-ending spot on the schedule—might not be focusing on the big picture.
"I do believe that one of the things people have lost track of in all of the noise is that if Michigan and Ohio State are in the same division, Michigan and Ohio State will never again play for the Big Ten championship—we ... Read More
