As the USA Today “Defensive Player of the Year” in high school, to an All-American at Ohio State, to his latest honor of being named AFC Special Teams Player of Month in November with the Miami Dolphins, Ted Ginn, Jr. has certainly left his mark through the football ranks.

“You play football,” Ginn tells My Valley Sports.  “I just go out everyday and try to do my best.  If you practice hard, the games should be easy.”

Ginn paid a visit to the Mahoning Valley on Monday night with a number of his fellow 49ers teammates and team personel.  They were at Leo’s Ristorante for the Edward J. DeBartolo Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s annual fundraiser.

Ginn was traded to the San Francisco 49ers during the offseason after three seasons with the Dolphins, during which he racked up over 3,600 return yards and 10 total touchdowns….
