By: Bill Kurelic (ESPN.com) — A number of Jim Tressel’s 13 verbal commitments will make their official visits to Ohio State this weekend. But more important will be the prospects making official visits who have yet to select a college.
Three of the top-10 undecided prospects in the Buckeye State will be in Columbus this weekend, including offensive lineman Matt James (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier) and defensive back teammates Latwan Anderson and Christian Bryant (Cleveland, Ohio/Glenville). Plus, quarterback Verlon Reed (Columbus, Ohio/Marion Franklin) and defensive lineman Johnathon Hankins (Detroit/Southeastern) is set to visit Ohio State this weekend. At this point, the Buckeyes would have to be considered the favorite to land Bryant and Reed, and though West Virginia currently leads for Anderson, it would be anything but shocking to see him end up at Ohio State.
