By: Andrew Girgis (AllHeadlineNews.com) — Evan Turner and the Ohio State Buckeyes took care of business against James Madison with a 72-44 thumping on Thursday in the 2K Sports Classic. Ohio State will face the North Carolina Tar Heels in the semifinals of the tournament next Thursday. David Lighty had 14 points and William Buford added 12 for the Buckeyes (2-0). Pierre Curtis was the leading scorer for James Madison with nine points (1-0). In the first three and a half minutes, Ohio State came out of the gate strong with a 10-2 lead. They then hit just 3 of their next 17 shots. By the half, Turner had 13 points and eight rebounds including a three-pointer with five seconds remaining. The Buckeyes are looking to do some damage this year as all five starters are returning after losing in the first round of last years NCAA tournament. Syracuse and California are the other semifinal matchup in this early season tournament.
