No. 30 Ohio State picked up two wins Saturday to improve to 6-0 on the season. The Buckeyes defeated North Florida, 10-8, in the nightcap after defeating George Mason, 11-5, earlier in the day.
Against North Florida, Ohio State scored eight two-out runs while amassing double digit runs and hits for the third consecutive game. Ohio State built a 9-3 lead through its half of the sixth inning on the strength of four hits and three ... Read More

The 16th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers will try to avenge an earlier loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes, as the two Big Ten programs clash at Mackey Arena today.
Purdue leads the all-time series with OSU, 79-74, including 52-23 in West Lafayette, but the Buckeyes captured an 80-72 overtime victory in the first meeting of the season on February 3rd. That victory was part a four-game win streak for OSU that was quickly followed with three consecutive losses. The Buckeyes though, put ... Read More

Even though the Buckeyes lost two premier linebackers to the NFL, they still have outstanding talent at that position.
The Buckeyes return veterans Ross Homan and Austin Spitler, who hope to fill the void left by James Laurinaitis and Marcus Freeman.
To go along with their returning talent at linebacker, OSU recruited four more guys who also will try to pick up right where those Buckeye greats left off.
Among them is Jordan Whiting, who led the Trinity ... Read More

Terrelle Pryor was the No. 1 recruit for football last year. This year, he’s played great for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
However, Pryor also was one of the top in the nation for basketball.
He was ranked No. 15 in the nation as a shooting forward for Jeannette High School in Pennsylvania. He took his team to states and won the basketball state championship just like he did in football.
He scored more than 1,000 points for his team throughout ... Read More

The Ohio State Buckeyes in 2009 are going to rely heavily on a 20-year-old sophomore from Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Luckily for me and all the other Buckeye fans around the world, this 20-year-old sophomore is Terrelle Pryor, a 6'6", 235-pound quarterback.
Pryor is an awesome talent. On Sept. 20, 2008, he threw four touchdowns (an Ohio State record for a freshman) and one interception in his first career start for the Buckeyes. Ohio State beat Troy 28-10. He showed ... Read More

The Wisconsin women's basketball team could not net a win against Ohio State Thursday night.
In the last regular-season matchup, the Wisconsin women’s basketball team fell to No. 14 Ohio State 75-53.
Although Wisconsin (6-12 Big Ten, 16-13 overall) earned a 54-51 win over Michigan State last week, the Badgers couldn’t stop the three-game win streak the Buckeyes (13-3, 22-5) had coming into the game. Wisconsin gave up a season-high 75 points to Ohio State Thursday night.

Growing up in Michigan, I can tell you that the typical discourse between a Wolverines supporter amoxicillin without prescription and an Ohio State Buckeye fan is usually some of the nastiest stuff you've ever heard.
Simply put, the maize and blue guys hate the scarlet gray guys and vice versa. And judging by the insults levied back and forth, both fan bases come from mothers of questionable repute.
So, what can be done to raise the dialog between ... Read More

It has been almost two years since Mike Conley played his final game at Ohio State. Neither has been as successful without the other as they were together.
Conley is now in his second year with the Grizzlies, who have played 138 games since his arrival. They have won just 37 of them — or two more than Conley won during his one season with the Buckeyes.
It's no wonder, then, that both he and Ohio State ... Read More

Something had to change. Maybe this was it, maybe it wasn't, but the Ohio State Buckeyes had lost three straight in the Big Ten, and something had to change.
Ohio State dropped from a tie for third place in the Big Ten to seventh after losing three close games -- by five points at Wisconsin, three at Northwestern and then on a last-second basket at home to Illinois.
Still, Ohio State continues to have friends in ... Read More
