First, here’s where the Buckeye football players were drafted:

Chimdi Chekwa-113 (Round 4) Raiders
Jermale Hines-158 (Round 5) Rams
Brian Rolle-193 (Round 6) Eagles
Ross Homan-200 (Round 6) Vikings
It was a surprise to see WR Dane Sanzenbacher slip through the cracks. There may be some question about his history with concussions or his size of just 5’11″, 182 pounds. In any case, this means Sanzenbacher, Justin Boren, Devon Torrence, Brandon Saine and Bryant Browning ... Read More

By: Matt Markey (ToledoBlade.com) -- COLUMBUS — After embattled Ohio State coach Jim Tressel sits before the NCAA’s infractions committee in August, that group of administrators, academics, and legal minds is expected to deliberate for two or three months before deciding Tressel’s punishment.

NEW ORLEANS -- Jim Delany had a flight to catch, but for the moment, he couldn't even make it off the fourth floor of the Windsor Court Hotel. As a group of reporters surrounded the Big Ten commissioner in front of an elevator bank pestering him with questions -- about the Fiesta Bowl, BCS antitrust issues and Ohio State's NCAA case -- one elevator after another stopped, but remarkably each one was ... A weird spring that began under the dark cloud of an NCAA investigation ended Saturday for the Ohio State football team in equally strange fashion.
Totally out of character, embattled coach Jim Tressel swapped his usual sideline sweater vest for military fatigues and devised a spring game script that basically mocked his own mantra.
What, no punts?
Seriously?
This from the man who turned "The punt is the most important play in football" into a mission statement?
Makes ... Read More

COLUMBUS -- In the three or four months since his amateur career ended, Dane Sanzenbacher has been continually educated in the nuances of professional football. As he looks forward to the NFL draft over the next few days, the course is incomplete.
"From the time the Sugar Bowl was over, this all became a business," Ohio State's 2010 MVP said.
"You're part of this team, this big group of coaches and players, in everything you do ... Read More

Apparently all the talk about the possibility of Urban Meyer taking over the helm at Ohio State has bothered Urban's daughter Nicki.
Beano Cook, who used to be the big dog on college football circuit, and has made some outrageous predictions in the past, including forecasting that Ron Powlus would win two Heismans at Notre Dame. Cook said Thursday during an interview on ESPN radio he expects Urban Meyer to be the coach at Ohio State in 2012.

Jim Tressel Is Not Garnering Much Support From Ex Ohio State Football Players
It is not a good time to be wearing a sweater vest.
