Buckeye Nation has become accustomed to bringing in Top Five recruiting classes year in and year out like its nothing. Once the allegations hit the program, pulling in high school stars became quite a task. Fickell did his best, but was hampered by his inexperience and lack of a long term contract.
The amount of high school talent that Meyer has attracted since his hiring in November has been nothing short of amazing.
The new head coach’s track record speaks for himself, and with Fickell coaching the bowl game, Meyer has been able to focus solely on filling this 2012 class with complete studs. Here are six big-time recruits that Meyer could possibly lure to Columbus.
WR Cyrus Jones
If you couldn’t tell, Ohio State needs some explosiveness at the wide receiver position, and Cyrus Jones, out of Baltimore, could certainly spark the buckeyes receiving corps immediately.
