Nike unveiled the designs Monday for the Pro Combat uniforms that Ohio State will wear against Michigan on Nov. 27, the second consecutive year OSU will don the retro jerseys against its rival.
The Buckeyes are one of 10 teams to take part in the series.
OSU’s uniforms will honor the 1942 team, which won the national title. The scarlet jerseys will have a camouflage base layer to reflect World War II and an American flag on the sleeve.
Other teams unveiling 2010 Pro Combat uniforms Wednesday include Miami (Fla.), Alabama, Boise State, Florida, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, TCU, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Among those presenting the uniforms’ unique stories are Michael Irvin (Miami), Errict Rhett (Florida) and basketball coach Bob Huggins (WVU).
