COLUMBUS — Shortly after the news broke that Jim Tressel had stepped down as coach of The Ohio State Buckeyes, reporter Steve Levine of WSYX-TV made a visit to the Tressel home in Columbus.

The reporter apparently thought the coach was ready to great the media with open arms and hold an on the spot interview. That was not the case. It is reported that Ellen Tressel, Jim’s wife, answered the door and quickly shut it once she noticed it was a reporter.
