By: John Cupps (BuckeyeCountry.net) - The Ohio State football team seen a rise in all the latest polls including the BCS standings. The Buckeyes took over the No. 10 spot in the AP Poll, just edging out USC at eleven. In the USA Today rankings, OSU shot up four spots to No. 8 and almost broke into the top 10 in the BCS standings, taking the No. 11 slot.

Terrelle Pryor and The Buckeyes handed Penn State a major loss, 24-7, Sasturday in Big Ten action. Ohio State has shared or claimed outright the Big Ten Championship for the past four years and are one step closer to another. Iowa travels to Ohio Stadium Saturday which will basically determine who will at least share the championship. The Hawkeyes suffered their first loss of the season, falling to unranked conference foe Northwestern 17-10.

Saturday will be the last home game of the season for the Buckeyes as they will close out regular season play at Michigan’s Big House.
