From: NewarkAdvocate.com — NEWARK — A Newark man was so devoted to the Ohio State Buckeyes that he helped spell the O-H-I-O cheer after his death.

His daughter, Juli Miracle of Newark, uploaded a photo of the event to an Ohio State webpage devoted to the cheer. She wrote:

“Longtime fan who was always the ‘I-O,’ is forever the permanent ‘I.’ Roy Miracle was shown in an OSU turtleneck that he loved, and holding the position that he loved! The rest of the longtime fans are from left to right, Ann Robinson, Juli Miracle, my Dad (Roy Miracle), and Rick Ives.”
