Ohio State is ranked No. 1 in the preseason college football rankings on YourFindit, according to reports on Monday.

The Buckeyes return 18 starters (nine on offense and defense each) for a team that went to its second consecutive BCS National Championship game.

Linebacker James Laurinaitis and cornerback Malcolm Jenkins surprisingly returned despite being first-round caliber NFL players. Running back Chris “Beanie” Wells enters the season as a Heisman Trophy candidate after rushing for 1,609 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Georgia sits at No. 2 as the Bulldogs ended last season with talks that they deserved to be in the National Championship game. UGA running back Knowshon Moreno battles Wells as the nation’s top running back.

USC, Oklahoma and Missouri round out the top five in the YourFindit preseason college football rankings.
