INDIANAPOLIS – One guy dunked. One guy blocked. One guy did everything in between.
Who said Ohio State doesn’t have a bench?
Facing – no, pursuing – the possibility of playing three games in three days, the Buckeyes demanded a teensy bit less from their core five players and outlasted Michigan, 68-61, in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals Saturday afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse.

By Pat Forde (ESPN.com) -- INDIANAPOLIS -- When defending Ohio State, you must pick your poison.
You either double-team Jared Sullinger in the paint and risk being shot out of the gym by the Buckeyes’ array of shooters, or you let the big man operate one-on-one.
After watching Ohio State make an NCAA-record 14-of-15 3-pointers Sunday against Wisconsin, Northwestern opted for the latter Friday. It spent most of the afternoon with just one lonely defender watching the freshman strong man.

That's what Mark Schlabach of ESPN states in his latest article on Tressel.

CINCINNATI -- Maybe it's because I live here, and my kids might some day go there, but I never liked the way Ohio State referred to itself. The Ohio State University? Really? As if it's the only public school in the state, or the only one that matters? Bad form. Elitist and low-rent, all at the same time.

By Ray Ratto (CBSSports.com) -- With so much shock and consternation over Ohio State's painfully orchestrated admission that head coach Jim Tressel told a few fibs about when he knew what he knew about TattooGate, it may be time for a reminder of the first fact of life in college sports.
You can't shame these people. Ever.

Steve Kerr spent 15 seasons as an NBA player and three more as general manager of the Phoenix Suns, so he should know a lottery pick when he sees one.
And he sees one in Ohio State freshman Jared Sullinger.
''If he didn't go in the top five, I'd be absolutely shocked,'' Kerr said. ''Especially this year. You look at the draft, it's not a great draft. I'm sorry to say that, Ohio ... Read More
