By: John Cupps (BuckeyeCountry.net) — Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel confirmed Friday at the team’s media day that Ray Small and Rob Rose have been given the okay to rejoin the team at camp. It is unclear when the two from Cleveland Glenville will return to practice, but when asked of Rose would be joining the team Friday, Tressel said, “He could,” and did not offer anything further. As far as Small returning Friday as well, “He may. We’ve got to get some things done,” the coach said.
No official word from the University as to why Small and Rose were left off the roster and were not joining the team at the start of camp, but Ken Small, Ray’s father, told BuckeyeSports.com this Levitra cheap past Sunday that each player was going through a different academic situation: Small was waiting on a grade to post, while Rose was finishing a class necessary to regain his eligibility.

Ray Small posted on his Twitter page messaging freshman wideout Duron Carter Thursday afternoon, “I’ll b bak 2 morrow.”

Should Rose and Small join the team, they will not immediately jump into the fray. The NCAA mandates that players who begin fall camp have an acclimatization process to go through, meaning they would have to have helmets for two days and in shells for two others before being able to don pads and begin hitting. Those are stipulations are in addition to any from Ohio State or the coaching staff.
