By: Bill Kurelic (ESPN.com) — Ohio State coach Jim Tressel is off and running on his 2011 recruiting class. On Thursday, ESPNU Watch List defensive end Steve Miller (Canton, Ohio/McKinley) committed to the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Florida, West Virginia, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA, Nebraska, Michigan State and Purdue, among others.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder made 116 tackles, including six sacks during his sophomore season. He has 78 tackles and eight sacks in seven games this season. The Buckeyes also have a verbal commitment from ESPNU Watch List defensive end Kenny Hayes (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer)…..
