CLEVELAND - Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel has retained former NCAA Committee on Infractions chairman Gene Marsh to represent him when he appears before the infractions committee in August.

Marsh, a graduate of the Ohio State University confirmed on Friday that he indeed had been hired by the Buckeyes coach to represent him when he appears before the same committee which Marsh use to chair from 2004 to 2006.
