Elements of a recent Columbus Dispatch report about the relationship between Ohio State football players and a local car dealership have been clarified.

An investigation by the newspaper’s staff showed that former Buckeyes linebacker Thaddeus Gibson paid $13,700 for a Chrysler 300C car. A title obtained by the paper late last week indicated the purchase price was $0.

Through further research, the Dispatch discovered an earlier title showing the correct purchase price, which was financed through a local bank….
