With the turmoil surrounding Ohio State’s football program, one could easily come to the conclusion that the entire recruiting class would jump ship and swim to safety, but that’s hardly the case. The Buckeyes picked up their second recruit, defensive back Najee Murray, since coach Jim Tressel left the program, and they haven’t lost a recruit yet.

Murray (5-11/170), a blazing cornerback/safety out of Steubenville (Ohio), also held several MAC offers and one from Indiana. He is Ohio State’s ninth commitment for the class of 2012, and joins Bedford (Ohio) DB Tyvis Powell as recruits who have joined the program since Tressel’s resignation on May 30.
