MADISON, Wis. (WHBL-Learfield) - The Ohio State Buckeyes were number-one when Wisconsin beat them in football last fall. Now, Coach Bo Ryan’s basketball team would like to match that accomplishment. When the Badgers host Ohio State today they will be taking on an undefeated team that is 24-0, with such a strong start to the season that even a defeat would leave the Buckeyes with a two-game lead in the Big Ten Conference standings.

Wisconsin basektball has matched up with a number-one ranked team 20 times in school history, losing 19. The lone win — Ohio State in 1962.
