The Buckeyes are a terrific team. In fact, I picked them to win the national championship prior to the start of the season – but they aren’t all-powerful.

While they are the most complete team in the country, Thad Matta’s group wasn’t going to pull off what was last accomplished back in 1976 by Bob Knight’s Indiana Hoosiers.

I compared this group to a poor man’s Florida from the 2006 and 2007 campaign – and that Gators team in the 2006-07 season lost five games – including three straight in February to Vanderbilt, LSU and Tennessee.

There’s no shame in losing in Madison to Wisconsin.

The Badgers had won 16 straight, 34 of their last 35 and now have won 150 games and lost just 11 times in the Bo Ryan Era…..
