After leaving Ohio State last June for a community college, the family of Duron Carter had planned on the wide receiver re-enrolling at the university after getting his academic house in order. With returning to the Columbus school no longer a realistic possibility, the son of former Buckeyes great Cris Carter has been contemplating other possibilities for where to continue his collegiate career.
Miami (Fla.) has long been considered one serious possibility. Now another school north and west of the Hurricanes is apparently deep in the mix for Carter’s talents.
By way of the Birmingham News, TideInsider.com is reporting that Alabama “is on the inside track to sign Carter.” Carter’s father told the website that a big reason for the Tide garnering such serious consideration is the head coach of the football program….
