By: Matt Horn (PortClintonNewsHerald.com) - t’s ironic that Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor scrawled the word “Vick” on his eye-black for a game last season.

It’s as if he could see the future. Michael Vick, quarterback of the playoff-bound Philadelphia Eagles, is the poster boy for second chances as he’s revitalized his career as an explosive playmaker.

It appears Pryor will get a second chance with the Buckeyes after promising coach Jim Tressel he would return to the team next season following his — and four teammates — five-game suspensions for selling or trading Ohio State memorabilia.

But there is one glaring difference between the two signal callers.

Vick was not allowed to play in one more game before his “suspension.” He served 18 months in a federal prison for his involvement with a dog-fighting ring.

Pryor and teammates Dan Herron, Mike Adams, DeVier Posey and Solomon Thomas did get to play another game before their suspensions are imposed..

Tressel allowed the five to play in Tuesday’s 31-26 Sugar Bowl victory over Arkansas, provided they all pledged before the game to return to the team next season rather than enter the NFL Draft.

In the game, Pryor tossed two touchdowns passes and had 115 rushing yards……
