Apparently all the talk about the possibility of Urban Meyer taking over the helm at Ohio State has bothered Urban's daughter Nicki.
Beano Cook, who used to be the big dog on college football circuit, and has made some outrageous predictions in the past, including forecasting that Ron Powlus would win two Heismans at Notre Dame. From: Huffintonpost.com -- Former Ohio State football player and ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on the Jim Tressel scandal and said that if this happened to his former coach John Cooper, he would have been fired.

The Ohio State University is possibly facing the most severe NCAA penalties in the history of its football program and the end of the Jim Tressel era could soon be coming to an end.

The NCAA has formally notified Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee of its intent to obtain documents regarding the investigation of football coach Jim Tressel and six players for selling memorabilia, receiving improper benefits and failing to report the violations.
The NCAA says the allegations are considered "potential major violations of NCAA legislation."
The university may request that the major violations be considered secondary with supporting evidence.

The news of James Jackson not being on the 2011 Ohio State football roster came to light earlier this month, but his former high school coach has confirmed that Jackson will be leaving OSU altogether.
It is currently unclear as to the reason for leaving the university, however Jackson was never really able to get consistent time on the playing field. The receiver did see some playing time in last season's 73-20 slaughter of Eastern Michigan.
